New Website Coming in 2023!
The Kansas City Quality and Value Innovation Consortium (KC QVIC) began as a novel collaboration of stakeholders committed to improving the quality, value, and equity of healthcare in Kansas City. The KC QVIC has been an effective vehicle for more rapidly implementing quality improvement innovations in healthcare delivery and evaluating the impact on outcomes.
In addition, the KC QVIC convenes the community to provide our regional healthcare field a place to learn about, examine, and exchange ideas focused on improving the quality and value of healthcare for Kansas City.
As our work and community engagement expanded, so did our infrastructure needs. In 2021, the work of KC QVIC was granted Institute status by the University of Missouri System and is now the Healthcare Institute for Innovations in Quality at the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
KC QVIC Forums continue, now as the Innovations in Quality (IQ) Forums hosted by the Healthcare Institute for Innovations in Quality.
